Vatican II Peritus: Because of "The Holocaust," Church Must Reinterpret Gospel

April 26, 2010

Fr. Gregory Baum, along with Frs. Ratzinger, De Lubac, Schillebeecks and Küng, was a Peritus (theological expert; advisor) at the Vatican II Council. The modernist theology of Auschwitz that he preaches is at least as pernicious as any other modernist error devastating the Church. Who will stand against it?

“… if the Church wants to clear itself of the anti-Jewish trends built into its teaching, a few marginal correctives won’t do. It must examine the very center of its proclamation and reinterpret the meaning of the gospel for our times … It was not until the holocaust of six million Jewish victims that some Christian theologians have been willing to face this question in a radical way … Auschwitz has a message that must be heard: it reveals an illness operative not on the margin of our civilization but at the heart of it, in the very best that we have inherited … It summons us to face up to the negative side of our religious and cultural heritage.” (Gregory Baum, ‘Introduction’, in Rosemary Ruether, Faith and Fratricide: The Theological Roots of Anti-Semitism, p.7)

Catholic Dogma Denier Hans Küng Clings Fast to "Holocaust" Dogma

April 8, 2009

Hans Küng believes there’s room in the Church for those who deny the divinity of Christ and a host of other dogmas, as he does, but that there’s no room in the Church for “Holocaust denial:”

“I don’t think a Holocaust denier can stay in the Catholic Church, no. The murder of six million human beings, Jews, is the biggest crime in the history of humanity …” (“Küng: Catholicism heading back to Middle-Ages,” Euronews, April 7, 2009)

http://www.euronews.net/2009/04/07/kueng-catholicism-heading-back-to-middle-ages/

It follows logically then, since Küng rejects Jesus’ divinity, that to him, the crucifixion of Jesus at Calvary wasn’t the greatest crime in history. In Küng’s universe, Jesus was only one Jew; his crucifixion a relatively minor crime compared to the “Holocaust of 6 million Jews.”

The modernist path of “tolerance” is leading us towards “Noahide” tyranny.

Papal Commission Promotes Noahide Laws

Benedict XVI’s good friend and fellow Vatican II Peritus, Hans Kung is a member of the Noahide organization, “Root and Branch”:

http://www.rb.org.il/RBIS/RBIS%201999/RBIS%201999.10.05a.htm

Kung is reported to have recently been honored by Freemasons (see:Noahides) for a “lifetime of service to the craft”:

Read Kung’s, “Declaration Toward a Global Ethic”:

http://www.cpwr.org/resource/ethic.pdf

According to Canadian Catholic News Service:

… [Benedict XVI and Hans Kung] agreed on the need for a global ethic which would be supported by people of different churches, religions, believers and non-believers … (Canadian Catholic News, March 20, 2007)

http://www.catholic.org/international/international_story.php?id=23448&page=2

This, quite simply, makes a mockery of Christ’s mandate to preach the Gospel to all nations. There is only one universal ethic and that’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Hans Kung says that the Talmudic “Noahide Laws” are “a universal code of conduct” that is “valid for all human beings:”

“A code of ethics is intended to match God’s covenant with man — a minimum code of conduct based on the principle of respect for life (the theologian and doctor Albert Schweitzer took this as the very basis of ethics in general), i.e. not to commit murder and not to eat the flesh of living animals. From this code of ethics Rabbinic Judaism subsequently derived the seven Noahide Laws, or Laws of Noah which, in addition to murder and cruelty to animals, prohibited robbery, adultery, idolatry and blasphemy; they also included a positive command that justice be administered (courts established). These constitute a universal code of conduct that is valid
from the start not only for Jews, but for all human beings.” (“Religion, violence and ‘holy wars,'” Hans Kung)
