God save us from these self-chosen arbiters of morality.
In response to the mocking news reports from the U.S. establishment press on the violence in Egypt which the Israeli/U.S. backed Mubarak regime is most responsible for, and the Israeli/U.S. scheming towards imposing another Israeli puppet regime as a replacement for Mubarak, and the recent revelations on the sellout of the Palestinian Authority, this post from 2007 seems relevant again:
Cardinal Martini sez:
Judaism, in its study centers, has elaborated the talmudic tradition in latter-day commentaries. The church cannot ignore the results of this elaboration, as they are present in religious, legal, and philosophical texts of postbiblical Jewish literature. There are many examples of such initiatives. But for them to bear fruit, we will have to extend them to the widest possible number of dioceses, communities, and ecclesial groups, in order to dispel the clouds of ignorance (for which we ourselves are largely responsible) that have separated us in the past and set us in mutual opposition.
I am certain that a profound understanding of Judaism will be vital for the church, not merely to overcome centuries of ignorance and initiate productive dialogue, but also to deepen the church’s self-understanding. (“The Road to Jerusalem,” Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini)
I offer below, teachings from post-biblical rabbinic literature, the Sefer HaChinuch [Book of Education]. I hope that readers will extend them to the widest possible number of dioceses, communities, and ecclesial groups, in order to dispel the clouds of ignorance and to inculcate profound understanding of Judaism vital for the Church not merely to overcome centuries of ignorance and initiate productive dialogue, but also to deepen the Church’s distinction from this racial-supremacist, racial-determinist counterfeit.

‘Gentile sperm leads to barbaric offspring’
Kobi Nahshoni – Ynet

Israel Jewish Scene
Rabbi Dov Lior, a senior authority on Jewish law in the Religious Zionism movement, asserted recently that a Jewish woman should never get pregnant using sperm donated by a non-Jewish man – even if it is the last option available.
According to Lior, a baby born through such an insemination will have the “negative genetic traits that characterize non-Jews.”
“Sefer HaChinuch (a book of [rabbinic] law) states that the character traits of the father pass on to the son,” he said in the lecture. “If the father in not Jewish, what character traits could he have? Traits of cruelty, of barbarism! These are not traits that characterize the people of Israel” …
Lior added identified Jews as merciful, shy and charitable – qualities that he claimed could be inherited. “A person born to Jewish parents, even if they weren’t raised on the Torah – there are things that are passed on (to him) in the blood, it’s genetic,” he explained. “If the father is a gentile, then the child is deprived of these things.
“I even read in books that sometimes the crime, the difficult traits, the bitterness – a child that comes from these traits, it’s no surprise that he won’t have the qualities that characterize the people of Israel,” he added …
Below is a sermon from a Reform Judaic synagogue which nonetheless reveals teachings of the religion of Judaism which will be of particular interest to traditionalists who sense the ground shifting beneath a recent revival of traditional externals.
We should be interpreting our times through the unchanging, bedrock teachings of the Gospel, not reinterpreting the Gospel or fashioning dispensations to accommodate our times. Pope Benedict induces a double-mind in his followers when he laments a “dictatorship of relativism” and simultaneously recommends that Christians learn from rabbinic exegesis. Benedict is a vicar of Hillel, not Jesus, when he deceives himself and others into believing that innovations which overturn core principles are actually in accordance with them.
… [The rabbinic interpretation of the biblical narrative] reflects a view that human development is constantly dynamic and emergent. Equally so, it is the foundation for a relationship with God based not on blind faith and passive submission but on mutual engagement and struggle. This view of God and humanity as inherently embraced in an exchange providing mutual self-disclosure is on full display in the Biblical narrative. Even bolder is the rabbinic declaration in the Talmud that whatever may be the divine source of the commandments, their interpretation and application rests now in human hands. God’s voice is not even welcome in the ongoing legal debates.
This is the nature of [rabbinic] covenantal theology: a muscular role for human beings in shaping the framework of a sanctified world and a God willing to cede great authority to God’s creations. It is this perceived relationship of responsible human and loving God that enabled the psalmist to invert the Greek view that truth was an abstraction residing in the heavens and to proclaim instead: “Truth springs up from the earth” (Ps. 85:12)*.
As most elegantly displayed in the Talmud, from this point of view sacred truth is proposal and not conclusion, offer and not certainty. [Rabbinic] theology resists static declarations of truth, which brutalize and constrain humanity in the form of absolute doctrine, creed, and ideology. Far more supple and felicitous is the shapely form of truth in [rabbinic] tradition. Deciding is always penultimate and provisional, always yet again unsettled and displaced by new insights and interpretations. There is no more succinct an expression of this ongoing, unfolding of truth and wisdom than the simple phrase which first appears in early rabbinic writings: olam haba; which sometimes is translated as “the world to come,” but which is better rendered as “the world that is coming” constantly, incessantly. Every day there is a new infusion of divine insight, calling, and purpose.
This presumptuous assertion of human authority in the linguistic gardens planted by the divine Creator, of the ever-unsettled status of any declared truth has profound implications for the concept of “tradition.” … [T]he most successful [rabbinic] myth may be the very notion of “tradition:” the idea that there is an identifiable, essential cultural practice that has remained unchanged and true to its original formulation centuries ago.
Tradition is sometimes used as a bludgeon to intimidate those seeking to innovate. At other times it appears as a plaintive cry from the mouth of one adrift in storm-tossed seas of shifting historical epochs. Both of these formulations are initially wielded by Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof as he seeks to navigate in a world no longer familiar to him: threatened by revolution and counter-revolution on the political plane; challenged by his daughters on the domestic front; and provoked to re-examine in his most intimate relationship, that with his wife Golde, the very notion of love. The joke that this simple and holy man finally gets and shares with us is that we are constantly reinterpreting and recreating our inherited cultural patterns and that the [rabbinic] genius has been to call the resulting innovations consistent with rather than a rupture from the past …
*“Truth springs up from the earth” (Ps. 85:12 or 84:12 in Vulgate). This likens truth to a rock or foundation. See: Jesus, Gospel of Matthew 7;24-27: “Every one therefore that heareth these my words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man that built his house upon a rock, And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded on a rock.
And every one that heareth these my words, and doth them not, shall be like a foolish man that built his house upon the sand, And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof.”
It’s precisely the rabbinic “genius” that takes a passage of scripture which teaches that truth is fixed and interprets it to mean the precise opposite for rabbinic self-aggrandizement. Jesus tells us that a wise man’s philosophy, theology and deeds proceed from fixed, bedrock truths; those of a foolish man shift like sand and lead to ruin. It’s for good cause that Jesus taught His followers to beware the doctrines of the Pharisees whose ‘truth’ is molded like clay, or made to appear or disappear like magic. Why is the Pope telling his followers to learn from the doctrines of the Pharisees via their heirs, the rabbis?
Read a traditional Judaic children’s Christmas Eve (“Nitel Night”) story and consider how this dreary, paranoid, hate-filled, tribal tradition can account for the relentless Judaic attack on Christmas. The “elder brothers” have traditionally taught their children to not only to fear and hate Jesus, but to believe that He is the cause of all their problems, through tales that long predate Stephen King and upstage him immeasurably in ponderous gloom:
” … Up to the end of the Jews’ street he walked at ease, but at the corner, where began the enemy’s world, he stopped like a frightened hare, scenting the hunter’s hounds … He passed the cemetery without a tremor; on that night [Christmas Eve] it was but the living he feared. The next turning brought him to the church. He remembered his mother’s warning not to pass it … Just as he came opposite the church door, it opened, and forth came a laughing group of men and girls who hurried away, the last one leaving the door ajar. From the shadow into which he had crept, Hirshl could look within, down to the shining altar where hung a half-naked, blood-stained effigy of Jesus of Nazareth.
“It is their God,” he thought, and gazed with fear and loathing at the ghastly figure. In his mind there loomed mystically, vaguely, but fearfully, the consciousness that the source of all their troubles lay in that horrible figure.
How spectral the gloom of those shadowy knaves! What harrowing mysteries hid behind those dark chancel doors! Was it there they kept that awful host, on account of which the Jews had to stay in their houses during Passion week,* and which bled–so the Christians said–when a Jew looked upon it? Then a chancel door began slowly and silently to slide ajar, and Hershl turned and fled in terror …” (“Nittel Nacht,” A Renegade and Other Tales, edited by Martha Wolfenstein, Kessinger Publishing)
The canon of Judaic fables of total goy evil contrasted against total “Jew” saintly victimhood, which functions as a virtual wall between the tribe and ‘the goyim,’ extends far beyond this collection. This and other collections, such as Lilith’s Cave, contain many such tales, but they are only adaptations for children of the tribal paranoia and hate of Talmud and Kabbalah.

On Nov. 7, 1999, in a Milwaukee synagogue, homosexual Archbishop Weakland issued a disgraceful, sack cloth and ashes mea culpa, presumed to be on behalf of Catholics and Catholicism, stating that both were direct causes of “The Holocaust” and that even a decade of repentance would not be enough HERE.
Will Archbishop Weakland now beg forgiveness on behalf of homosexuality and philojudaism for the sex abuse holocaust of Catholic children which homosexual philojudaic bishops such as himself facilitated? Are not organized homosexuality and Judaism both openly anti-Catholic in ideology and practice? Is this fact not enough evidence to indict, nay, convict homosexuality and Judaism as paving the road to the sex abuse holocaust of Catholic children, just as the verdict has been handed down that Catholicism is responsible for “The Holocaust”? Apparently, intolerance and hatred towards Catholics is an impossibility today, according to the establishment’s arbiters of such matters, as much as both appear to exist. Always the double standard.
Yes, homosexual philojudaic Archbishop Weakland covered up the sex abuse of Catholic children that took place in the diocese he was responsible for, but fear not, those sex abused children were well catechized in the dangers of intolerance toward homosexuality and Judaism.
Weakland shredded copies of sex abuse reports, documents say
Dec. 3, 2009
Bruce Vielmetti – Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel
Former Milwaukee Archbishop Rembert Weakland routinely shredded copies of weekly reports about sexual abuse by priests, according to formerly sealed testimony turned over to Milwaukee County’s district attorney on Thursday.
In a 1993 deposition, Weakland admitted destroying copies of the reports in his office, according to a partial transcript of the deposition released by Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests.
Peter Isely, SNAP’s Midwest director, turned over the partial transcript, as well as portions of the logs to which Weakland was referring, to Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm and asked him to review them for any possible criminal violations. Chisholm accepted the records and promised a thorough review.
The 16-year-old deposition documents have come to light during the discovery process in more than a dozen civil fraud lawsuits filed against the Milwaukee archdiocese.
SNAP made the announcements at a news conference Thursday morning outside Chisholm’s office at the Milwaukee County courts complex.
Julie Wolf, communications director for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, said Thursday she had not seen the documents SNAP released and could make no comment on them for the archdiocese.
In the deposition, Weakland explains that he got copies of the weekly logs made by vicars in the archdiocese about ongoing problem priests. He said he would read them, then shred them because he didn’t want to keep them in his office. He would “try to remember anything that is quite serious and important,” and later discuss the matters with the vicar.
SNAP also released portions of logs kept on two abusive priests, Siegfried Widera and Franklyn Becker. Widera killed himself in 2003 after police cornered him in Mexico; Becker has been removed from the priesthood. Isely said not all portions of all vicar logs have been released yet as part of the civil litigation.
Isely said SNAP also will ask Archbishop-designate Jerome Listecki to censure and discipline Weakland and anyone else who may have been involved in covering up sex abuse by clergy. He said Listecki has refused to say whether he would review why the Diocese of La Crosse, where he is bishop, has cleared more clergy accused of abuse than most dioceses.
Listecki told Wisconsin Public Radio that he did not have enough time left in his term as bishop in La Crosse and that, besides, it was the holiday season.
