Columbia University President Lee Bollinger: "Know Thy Enemy"

September 25, 2007

Indeed, Mr. Bollinger. I have come to know my enemy very well. It is the ideology espoused by yourself and others who would claim that Iranian President Ahmadinejad is my enemy. You do not speak for me or for any true American. You do not represent any of the ideals that the United States was founded upon. You speak for the six-pointed state that calls itself “Israel” and the insane ideology called “Judaism” which sees ancient enemies in current figures and populations who exhibit no hostility; an ideology which crushes dissent and darkens minds.

But I thank you for your display of insane chutzpah before the nation nonetheless; for exposing your imposture as an academic and upholder of the principles of free inquiry and laying bare your true nature, that of the lawyerly sophist; that of the rabbis of Judaism. For those with eyes to see, you’ve only added to the miles-high mountain of evidence of what the real enemy is and how deeply ensconced it is within our society.

Delusional Judaics continue to Label Ahmadinejad as Haman/Amalek

September 24, 2007

“I think it is disgusting that Columbia is having this Haman, this Hitler, speak here,” said Harv Hilowitz, referring to an ancient Persian official who ordered the killing of Jews …

Hilowitz, a graduate of Columbia’s Teacher’s College who traveled two hours from Kingston, New York, to protest outside Columbia, said, while waving an Israeli flag, that freedom of speech shouldn’t be afforded to “dictators” like Ahmadinejad. (Janine Zacharia and Henry Goldman, “Demonstrators Protest Ahmadinejad Speech at Columbia,” Bloomberg News, September 24, 2007)

Amalek, Haman, Purim and Saddam Hussein

September 15, 2007

Now I will allow an Israeli to tell the story from his perspective:

This War is for Us

by Ariel Natan Pasko

Arutz Sheva

March, 26 2003

Stop and think for a moment: the last Gulf War in 1991 ended erev – just before – Purim. This Gulf War began motzei – just after – Shushan Purim. Get the picture?

Of course this war against Iraq and Saddam Hussein is for us …

… this war is for us – i.e., the Jews and Israel. Chazal – our sages – throughout the ages have explained the Torah, telling us that everything that happens in the world is for the benefit of the Jewish People.

Simply put another way, if all the world is a stage, then the Jews – and especially those in the Land of Israel – are the lead actors on the stage of history, and the goyim – the nations, i.e. the gentiles – have supporting roles, while the evil-doers are props and background scenery. As our tradition states, G-D – the great playwright – created the world for the sake of the Jewish People, and it is our responsibility to implement the Torah – absolute morality and the blueprint of creation – in it.

Stop and think for a moment: the last Gulf War in 1991 ended erev – just before – Purim. This Gulf War began motzei – just after – Shushan Purim. Get the picture? In between, “The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honor.” (Book of Esther 8:16)

Read the Purim story in Megilat Esther again, it is a rags to riches story on a national scale. Haman, the proto-typical anti-Semite, plans mass murder of the Jews and in the end pays with his life, the life of his ten sons – all hanged – and the Jews kill 75, 800 members of the anti-Semitic – i.e. Nazi – party of the time.

… As I said earlier, of course this war is for the Jews and Israel, and instead of hiding from the accusation, or crying, “anti-Semitic slur”, we should gratefully acknowledge what the Master of the Universe is doing to our enemies for us. Saddam Hussein, Yasser Arafat, Bashar Assad, Osama Bin-Laden, and the other dictators, terrorists and mullahs of the region, are the modern day Hamans

Perhaps this Israeli’s excitement with wars against “modern day Hamans” coinciding with Purim, the holiday commemorating the Jews’ vengeance against Haman, can be understood in light of Judaic messianic prophesy:

“But withal redemption will not be complete until Amalek will be exterminated, for against Amalek the oath was taken that “the Lord will have war against Amalek from generation to generation” (Ex. XVII,16). (Soncino Zohar, Bereshith, Folio 25b)

Amalek, Haman, Ahmadinejad and Reincarnation

September 15, 2007

In the Book of Esther, the villain, Haman, is the minster of the King of Persia which is today called Iran. Here we see that the rabbis identify Haman as a direct descendant of Amalek, the tribe which the rabbis preach must be exterminated before the Judaic “redemption” can take place.

Shabbat Zakhor: (Heb. rvkz TYQ; “Sabbath of Remembrance”), the second of the four special Sabbaths. It is the Sabbath before Purim. The name derives from the additional Torah portion read from Deuteronomy 25:17–19 whose theme is the duty “to remember” what Amalek did to Israel. The traditional belief is that Haman the Agagite was a direct descendant of Agag, the king of the Amalekites (e.g., I Sam. 15:9ff.). (Encyclopedia Judaica, “Sabbaths, Special”)

The above mentioned Shabbat Zakhor is the Judaic Sabbath that falls before Purim. It is mandatory for all Orthodox Judaics to hear the reading of the Parshat Zachor on this day each year when they are reminded to make war against “Amalek,” directly connected with Haman, for eternity:

“… the Sages have prescribed the public reading of [Parshat Zachor] once every year, on the Shabbat which precedes Purim – so that the ‘wiping-out’ of Amalek might be adjacent to the ‘wiping-out’ of Haman, the latter being a descendant of Amalek.”

http://www.ou.org/chagim/fourshabbatot/zachor.htm

In the last blog entry it was shown that Amalek was actually completely eradicated 500 years before Christ (1st Chronicles 4;43) by the true Israelites but that the rabbis have throughout history falsely labeled individuals and groups as “Amalek” and subject to extermination. The rabbinic doctrine of reincarnation (gilgul) was also briefly mentioned.

… metempsychosis [reincarnation] is taken for granted in the Kabbalah from its first literary expression in the Sefer ha-Bahir (published in late 12th century) … From the period of the Zohar on, the term gilgul became prevalent in Hebrew literature and began to appear in philosophic works as well. (Encyclopedia Judaica, “Gilgul”)

Let’s look at a few recent examples of Judaic attempts to conflate the current President of Iran with Haman from the Book of Esther:

“There’s more than passing irony in the fact that the most infamous anti-Semite of antiquity, the hater whose downfall Jews celebrate on Purim, was a prominent official of an empire centered in what’s now Iran.

Like the Persian royal adviser Haman, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad …” (“Haman, Ahmadinejad, and us,” Rabbi Avi Shafran, Jewish Standard, March 9, 2006)

http://www.jstandard.com/articles/730/1/Haman,-Ahmadinejad,-and-us

There is no end to the amount of homilies that rabbis will spin out of the story of Purim. Pending what’s in the New York Times that week, Vashti, Esther and Mordechai all become transformed into real-life characters. Usually this sermonic game ends up with someone asking, “So, rabbi, who is today’s Haman?” Usually this crude question engenders an equally crude but far more dangerous political answer. God knows how many people have been labeled Haman who, in other contexts, would be seen as a Mordechai. Rarely do we actually have a real breathing Haman standing right before our eyes.

This year, however, I am sad to say, but it seems there is such a man, the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. (“Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: The New Haman,” Rabbi Eliyahu Stern, Virtual Talmud, February 27, 2007)

And here we see an Israeli comic which openly depicts Ahmadinejad as the reincarnation of Haman and suggests that “the civilized world” has a responsibility to destroy him.

Yup. Ahmadinejad, the modern reincarnation of Haman of Persia is both a test for the civilized world and a trial for Israel. The future is looking more and more like the past. As the old curse goes: “May you live in interesting times!”

…And a Happy Purim to us all.

Don’t get caught up in the delusional Judaic attempt to force their own “redemption” by destroying their perceived ancient enemy whom they believe to be reincarnated in the President of Iran.
