Heavenly Jester

I admit, I’m not up on the new tradition, or maybe there’s something I’m missing that would make it virtuous or funny to intentionally deceive people as a setup for a self-serving ‘teachable moment.’ Evidently, I’m not alone. The implied lesson: believe the “New Catholic” who just deceived you, not Bp. Williamson.

But take “New Catholic’s” word for it, “this is very humorous,” even if it doesn’t seem so. This internet-published claim comes in tandem with his/her admonishment to use discernment in encountering material published on the internet. Indeed! To which I add, be as conscious of what is omitted as what is published, particularly with the Fellay camp’s P.R. outlet.

These clowns just want the SSPX in with them so that they can enjoy more smells and bells than hitherto.
    Doctrine? Who cares about doctrine?

And Fellay in Manila?. Yes, he has “information” that the Pope is going to offer his Society something even better (than the “Doctrinal Preamble”)

  2. Maurice Pinay Says:

    That's the carrot.

    And the stick:

“Towards the end, Fellay said that if the Society does not accept the Preamble, Rome 'may' declare us schismatic.”

  3. Jack Says:

    \\Doctrine? Who cares about doctrine?\\

I do. That's why I'm an Eastern Catholic.

However, since NOBODY on these blogs knows the contents of the Doctrinal Preamble, would it not be well to say nothing about it?

    Most holy Theotokos, save us.

Who can be surprised? Rome has used the same modus operandi (very successfully) with all traditional groups who have “negotiated” with them. The only real surprise was when HE Bishop Fellay continued these doctrinal discussions after Assisi III and the “beatification of JPII were announced. Our Lady of LaSallette, please pray for us.

He seems to be talking out of both sides of his mouth playing both sides. Something for everyone. Like a true modernist.

  6. Diego Says:

A common, though by no means a universal, failing of converts is to forget that they were wrong before, so they should have the humility and prudence to doubt themselves—not to doubt the Faith, but to doubt themselves (and their pontifications).

The problem is, of course, exacerbated in those who cannot leave their racial conceits behind.

    “New Christians,” “New Catholics,” beware!

And they publish photos of the “EF” of Mass being celebrated in Afghanistan!!!
Will this convert the widows and orphans of that country? Or will this increase the accuracy of those drone fired missiles?

Second annual “Mitzva” day for novus ordo Catholics of Christ our light, Cherry Hill, NJ to volunteer at secular government operated agencies.

Didn't we call that Catholic action and now the day for these Catholics is mitzva day.

What ever happened to Catholic charities, st. Vincent de Paul society, Knights of Columbus etc where Catholics were always volunteering all year long???

Also, recently saw the title of my cousin's 1986 yearbook Paul VI High School, camden Diocese, NJ. It was titled” Shalom”. Thank God I went public school.

They want the SSPX in with them inorder to oppress the Catholic faith and us…
